Hudson Valley Restaurant Week 2014 begins on Monday, November 3rd and runs through Sunday November 16th. Similar to the NYC Restaurant week, over 200 restaurants from all over Hudson Valley have prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner. Lunch runs $20.95 and Dinner runs $29.95. This includes appetizer or salad, main entree and dessert.
For the more upscale restaurants, a more limited menu is offered. You can order off the regular menu, but at regular menu prices. I also noticed that many of the more upscale restaurants are not offering the prix fixe on the weekends, so you need to check the restaurant list well before making reservations. Also make sure you like what they have on their limited menus! The list of all of the restaurants is listed on their Hudson Valley site. By the time you add drinks, tips and tax, this could still add up to a sizable bill. But, it is a good way to sample more expensive restaurants for future special occasions. It may not be worth it for the moderate priced restaurants who's prices may add up to the same bill!
Enjoy and let me know if you found any new restaurants that you feel you'd recommend for restaurant week!
