Imelda Rojas Cruz Avellan - Agent
While I was a mentee in the Judge Judy and Nicole Sheindlin Mentorship program, I earned the opportunity to work in the Westchester County Executive’s office in an internship. During my work there I developed a deep love and respect for the Hudson Valley area. It is this love that has brought me into the real estate business. I have fallen in love with our big cities with high rise buildings, lovely quiet villages, and towns where the only thing you can see out your window is nature. While my love for the area has brought me into this field, it is my association as being a member of the National Honor Society that makes me a professional. My goals are to serve my community, to be an exemplary leader, to strive for academic excellence, and to always maintain a reputable reputation.
An academic excellence scholarship to Rochester Institute of Technology has given me an opportunity to spend a year exploring technology and programming. A skill that is critical in any industry where technology has become the way of doing business. With two more years of technology and programming courses under my belt from Westchester Community College, I am not afraid to use every bit of technology to ensure that my client is being best served.
I have real estate in my blood, I listened to my mother helping her clients navigate the real estate business my whole life. There is nothing like knowing you have someone in your corner looking out for your best interests during one of the biggest decisions in your life. It is my firm belief that whether you are listing, buying or renting in this real estate market, everyone deserves to be treated with respect. That is why I treat everyone with the same kind of patience and understanding I would expect someone to give my child. I am not here to help you list, buy or rent just any house or building, I am here to help you with your home. A home that is either filled with memories, or a place where you want to create them.
