GREENBURGH PARKS DEPARTMENT SPRING SUMMER GUIDE

GREENBURGH PARKS DEPARTMENT SPRING SUMMER GUIDE

Its time to think about spring and summer activities. The Town of Greenburgh has already come out with its 2012 Spring/Summer Parks and Activities Programs
The Parks Department has something for everyone who resides in one of the villages/towns that incorporate Greenburgh. This can include Hartsdale, Scarsdale, Elmsford, White Plains, Ardsley and Irvington.  Children can join the Day Camp that starts in June. Tennis players can sign up for lessons, join a tournament or just play on the many tennis courts available. And, of course, sitting by the pool, and perhaps renting a cabana for the summer may be your choice.

Anthony Veteran Park, which is walking distance to my home, has a Multipurpose Center that is used for summer activities and services for senior citizens.  It can also be rented out for parties and group meetings. It includes tennis courts and 3 pools, including one for the kids.  If you would like to have a pool party, just scroll to page 52 for details!

Since this Town of Greenburgh Parks Guide is 72 pages long, here are some pages that you can scroll to get some of the handy information specific to the many parks and recreation facilities
